Cable Requirements
When extending a 3840 x 2160 @ 24Hz Ultra High Definition (UHD) 4Kx2K video signal, use the following cables (sold separately):
- Cat6A (available from Tripp Lite as a custom order) for up to 328 ft. (100 m.)
- Cat6 cable (24AWG, Solid Wire cable required, such as Tripp Lite's N202-Series) for up to 230 ft. (70 m.)
- Cat5e cable (26AWG, Solid Wire cable required, such as Tripp Lite's N001- and N002-Series) for up to 150 ft. (45.7 m.)
When extending computer video resolutions of 1920 x 1200 @ 60Hz, or HD video resolutions of 1080p @ 60Hz, use Cat5e/6 cable (24AWG, Solid Wire cable required, such as Tripp Lite's N202-Series) to extend the signal up to 328 ft. (100 m.).
