The Addonics Optical Tower is one of the most versatile optical storage solutions that you will find on the market. The Optical Tower will enable you to attach multiple DVD burners to a Port Multiplier (PM) compatible eSATA port or USB port on any computer with just one or two cables depending on the model. Once attached, multiple optical drive letters appear on your system. You can then use these optical drives like a duplicator by simultaneous DVD burning, or to run different burning job on different drives without any waiting around. You can also share these drives over the network for access by other computers to share the DVD or CD titles.
About this model
This DVD/CD Tower III, model ST3DVREU3, is equipped with high speed DVD-RRW and a Port Multiplier to allow connecting all three drives to a computer via either an eSATA or USB cable. When connects to 6G SATA port or USB 3.0 port, the three drives can perform at it's maximum speed when read/write to high speed media. It is a great solution to create multiple copies of DVD or CD media all at one time.
