Overview
Part of the best-selling 7000 monitor arm series, the 7000-500 Radial Monitor
Arm is the preferred choice of some of Australias largest companies. Robust and
adaptable, it offers an unparalleled range of movement and adjustability, with a
low desktop foot-print to maximise space and utility. This single monitor arm
suits many functions. It is most often used for lightweight monitors and, due to
its straight forearm, is particularly suitable with a laptop tray.
The 7000-500 is ideal for activity based workplaces, due to its excellent
range of movement and overall ergonomic versatility. Why buy this:
The 7000-500 floats a flat panel monitor above the work surface, so it is
easily adjustable just where you want it, at the touch of a fingertip. The
integrated gas cylinder allows precise positioning of the monitor. Made of
sturdy cast aluminium, 7000-500 rotates 360 at three joints. The monitor can be
tilted up to 200, and the screen can be pivoted from landscape to portrait.
Integrated cable management keeps the work surface free from cable clutter.
Similar to the7Flex, the 7000-500 Monitor Arm extends outwards to 61cm, but
has an increased vertical range of 46cm, relative to the 40cm vertical range of
the standard 7Flex. When not in use, it can fold away to just 9cm of space.
The additional height is achieved through a higher mount cup column bracket
that also provides for an optional stop rotation puck. The stop rotation is used
to limit the horizontal traverse of the arm so that monitors are not
accidentally bumped against walls or glass panels, or else when desks are in
close proximity, and some lateral movement needs to be restricted.
The 180 degree stop rotation puck reduces the monitor arm horizontal movement
to 180 degrees. In situations where users face each other on the same
workstation, or are facing a glass wall, the 180 degree puck prevents the
monitor arms from extending past the back of the desk.
The 90 degree stop rotation puck reduces the monitor arm horizontal movement
to 90 degrees, and is typically used for a corner desk. It can be adjusted for
left or right hand applications.
Extra height can also be added with the optional 5cm (2 inch) and 15cm (6

Supplied with a standard desk clamp, the 7000-500 can also be thru-desk

As standard, the 7000-500 supports monitors that weigh from 0.9 5.9 kgs. It
is particularly suitable for the emerging range of lightweight LED screens, and
for supporting laptops on a tray. Higher weight-rated arms for heavier monitors
are also available in the 7000 Series monitor arm range. It is often combined
with the 7045-500 as the 7Twin ABW.
