Overview

The RMAMPS2517 mounting pedestal is part of Arkon’s Robust Mount Series. 

It can replace or upgrade an existing 17mm ball pedestal and mounts to car dashboards and consoles, as well as to walls or other solid flat surfaces with screws (not included) using the 4-Hole AMPS drill base mounting pattern. 

The pedestal is compatible with 17mm ball holders and is including Arkon’s Roadvice Mobile Grip Phone / Tablet Holder a

 The mount is also compatible with Garmin GPS utilizing the 17mm ball mount pattern.

 The AMPS pattern consists of four holes located in a rectangular pattern spaced at 30.17mm x 38.05mm (measured as the center-to-center distance between holes). 

This tough, low-vibration pedestal measures 5.75 inches from end to end, and is made from a combination of nylon and plastic.

 The arm of the pedestal swivels on both the top and the bottom, providing 360-degree rotation and the ultimate flexibility in positioning the device at any angle.

The mount can also be screwed directly into the dash or console of your vehicle or work truck. (Warning: Use caution and consult a mobile install professional to avoid drilling into any sensitive vehicle components.)
