The NF-A4x10 24V PWM is a PWM-enabled 24V variant of Noctua’s award-winning, premium-quality NF-A4x10 40mm fan. As such, it is ideal for 24V-based 3D printers as well as various other 24V applications. Featuring an AAO (Advanced Acoustic Optimisation) standard frame and sophisticated aerodynamic design measures such as Flow Acceleration Channels, the NF-A4x10 is renowned for its superior performance and outstanding quietness of operation. Smooth Commutation Drive technology and Noctua’s reference class SSO2 bearing guarantee superb running smoothness and excellent long-term stability. Topped off with the included OmniJoin Adaptor Set, NA-AC9 adaptor cable for popular 3D printers (e.g. Creality Ender 3 &0, Anycubic Mega), Low-Noise Adaptor and 6-year manufacturer’s warranty, the NF-A4x10 24V PWM is a premium choice for demanding 24V applications with or without PWM control.

Caution: Being a 24V fan, the NF-A4x10 24V cannot be run at 12V and requires a starting voltage of at least 17V. It is therefore not suitable for standard PC applications.

The NF-A4x10 impeller features suction side Flow Acceleration Channels. By speeding up the airflow at the crucial outer blade regions, this measure reduces suction side flow separation and thus leads to better efficiency and lower vortex noise.

Supporting fully automatic PWM speed control, the fan uses Noctua's custom-designed NE-FD3 PWM IC that integrates Smooth Commutation Drive (SCD) technology. By providing smoother torque impulses, SCD suppresses PWM switching noises and thus makes the fan quieter at low speeds.
Stops at 0% PWM 

Stops at 0% PWM

When the fan is set to 0% PWM duty cycle by the motherboard or PWM fan controller, it will stop. This makes it ideal for creating setups with semi-passive cooling that automatically turn the fans off and thus run completely silent at idle if thermals allow.

Advanced protection features

Protected against reverse polarity, over voltage and over current (short-circuits), the fan is suitable for use in challenging electrical environments. At the same time, its ultra-low EMC emissions make it ideal for applications where electrical interference is critical. Last but not least, its locked rotor and overloading protection add extra safety in situations where the fan may be blocked mechanically.

Low-Noise Adaptor

The NF-A4x10 24V PWM is supplied with a Low-Noise Adaptor (L.N.A.) that reduces the maximum fan speed from 5000 to 4100rpm. The L.N.A. can be used either to run the fan at a fixed speed of 4100rpm or to cap the maximum speed when using automatic PWM control.

The NA-AC9 adaptor cable allows the fan to be connected to the 2-pin JST XHP-2 2.5mm sockets used on many popular 3D printer models (e.g. Creality Ender 3 and CR-10, Anycubic Mega). No soldering or re-wiring required!

Many devices featuring 5V fans use proprietary fan headers, so the NF-A4x10 comes with Noctuas OmniJoin adaptor set. Just cut the original fans cable, fix it to the adaptor using the supplied cable connectors and you can plug the NF-A4x10 to proprietary fan headers!
