The new Zebra series drive enclosure may be the only external drive enclosure that you will ever need. With a wide range of optional components, the Zebra series are designed to start as a basic economical drive enclosure solution. It can then be expanded with new capabilities to accommodate different type of storage devices or interface connections as your need grows. The Zebra family of enclosures come in choices of three difference interface connection - USIB, eSATA or eSATA+USB combo. The Zebra enclosures are large enough for both 3.5" or 5 1/4" drives and are designed for simple drive installation with an easy slide open drive tray at the back. The front features a removable front panel to accommodate removable or optical storage devices.
Zebra USIB model (ZSAUSCSU, ZSAUSCSF) for SATA devices
The Zebra USIB model is equipped with a SATA - USIB connector on the back panel. Practically any IDE or SATA storage device can be turned into an external storage device. With the addition of an optional IDE - SATA converter, any IDE storage device can also be installed into the Zebra USIB SATA drive enclosure. Once the storage device is installed into the drive enclosure, it can then be connected to any computer with USB 2.0, Firewire or eSATA interface by attaching different optional Addonics USIB interface cables.
