  • OS independent, can be used on any system when all drives are configured as a single RAID volume.
  • For Windows operating systems, configure RAID using RAID diagnostic software utility.
  • For Linux and Mac operating systems, configure RAID using onboard jumpers.

he RAID Tower IX is built basing on the Storage Tower platform that features nine 5.25" drive bays in a lightweight and compact chassis with a stylish and functional front bezel. Depending on the model, up to fifteen 3.5" hard drives can be installed into the RAID Tower IX. The drives can be configured as a RAID set and be connected to the computer via high speed eSATA connection or USB 3.0 (using optional USB 3.0 -eSATA Adapter). Depending on model, you can also share the storage on the RAID Tower on LAN by attaching to the optional Addonics NAS adapter. Each model comes with everything needed for connecting to the computer. All is needed is to add your own hard drives and configure the RAID via either onboard jumpers or software utility depending on the target operating system.
