Sapphire WRITE-PROTECT 2.5" HDD/Flash Reader
Overview
This Sapphire WRITE PROTECT 2.5" HDD/Flash Reader is the first in the market that supports READ only function on the latest flash card such as M2, mSATA and CFast card. Equipped with an interface bridge that disables the WRITE function on the hardware level, This Sapphire Reader allows accessing data on any 2.5" SATA HDD/SSD, M2 card, mSATA card, CFast card or CF card without the risk of accidentally erasing or altering the existing content on the media. This unique feature ensures absolute protection against virus contamination or data tampering. It is a great tool for sharing the supported storage media containing important data among different users or for forensic application. This Reader essentially treats any hard drive or SSD as a READ only media, similar to CD or DVD disc.
With the build-in USB 3.0 interface, this Reader can be attached to practically any computer equipped with USB 2. 0 or USB 3.0 port. The USB 3.0 also ensure fast data access up to 5 Gbps when connecting to system equipped with USB 3.0 port. Integrated with a 2.5" Snap-In removable drive cartridge system, the 2.5" HDD/SSD can be easily added or removed from this Reader without any special tool. The included 2.5" flash drive adapter enables loading the four supported flash media into the Reader, just like a standard 2.5" drive.
