Overview
The Internal Micro SATA UDD is one of Addonics family of solutions that enables any 1.8" micro SATA hard drive or SSD to be used like a removable drive cartridge. Designed to mount inside a standard 3.5" drive bay, this Micro SATA UDD connects to any SATA port inside the computer. Once installed, any 1.8" Micro SATA hdd or SSD can be or remove from the system via the drive slot opening in front of the UDD, similar to inserting or removing a PCMCIA device. Also available in dual slot version to accommodate two 1.8" Micro SATA drives at the same time from a single 3.5" drive bay.
The optional Addonics CipherChain can also be added to secure all the data in the micro SATA drive with bullet proof hardware AES 256-bit encryption.
