Simply plug in
Connect the AS6004U to any ASUSTOR NAS to complete hardware expansion using a
USB 3.0 connection cable! Depending on model *, ASUSTOR NAS devices can
simultaneously connect up to 3 AS6004U units that meet the high capacity storage
demands of enterprise users.
* NAS series supporting expansion up to 3 units: AS31 /
32/50/51/52/53/61/62/63/64/70 (other series can only expand to 2
units)

* Use the USB 3.0 cable provided by ASUSTOR * If 12 devices are connected
to the USB 3.0 port on the 70-series models (1 hard drive = 1 device), other USB
ports will not be available.
Security Bracket for Secure Connections
Safety bracket and mounting hole design;The AS6004U allows the USB
cable to be securely connected without having to worry about
disconnection.
Secure Disc Tray Lock Design
Users have added a new lock mechanism to ASUSTOR, to prevent hard disk
removal during operation, by accidentally pressing the buttons on the disc
tray.Users do not need a special key or tool to unlock it.Only a
simple flat head screwdriver can control the locks.
Smart Power Saver
The AS6004U has a power synchronization mechanism that synchronizes with the
NAS's operating state.If the NAS enters sleep mode or shuts down, the
AS6004U enters standby mode.When the NAS returns to normal operation, the
AS6004U will continue to connect to the NAS.This function works to help
users save significant power.
Intelligent Fan for Temperature
Control
The internal temperature of the system increases during heavy loading and
operating conditions.The AS6004U uses a wide speed range fan that supports
the temperature control function in combination with an intelligent speed
mechanism.As the system load and temperature increase, the fans will
automatically increase the speed for cooling the device and ensure a stable
operating temperature and service, ensuring that the system maintains an
appropriate operating temperature.
Secure Storage
The AS6004U is compatible with 4 hot-swappable disk slots and the largest
hard drives on the market.Supports RAID * and AES 256-bit encryption,
providing the best data protection mechanisms.
Flexible Storage Expansion and Backup
In addition to providing economical high-capacity storage, the AS6004U
supports ASUSTOR's MyArchive backup technology.This allows users to create
removable storage archives and back up important data to them at any
time.
