Fortnite is not overly demanding, however many players suffer from poor performance. Because of this we have created a line of affordable gaming systems for parents who would like their kids to have a smoother gaming experience. We have tested Zero Build Battle Royale and Zero Build Reload. If you want to use this product for high level competitive build we are unable to talk to its ability as late game can become very busy with many players and build pieces.
The build is based on an older Xeon processor, 16GB of HP memory and a Radeon
RX580. Neither of these parts are gaming powerhouses by todays standards but
are more than sufficient for acceptable gameplay in older games like Fortnite. Supporting
parts are quality brands – A Crucial 500GB NVME SSD, Antec Mini Tower case with
three fans for cooling and a Thermaltake 550W power supply.
This system would also run Roblox, CS:GO, Apex and most older at a smooth framerate. Our target when building this machine was 120fps solid at 1920*1080. This can be achieved through operating system and BIOS tuning (applied before you buy) as well as running on Windows 10 rather than Windows 11 – which gives superior gaming performance.
Please note that while the system will
run fortnite as advertised at time of purchase should the game change
significantly in the future we are unable to guarantee that this performance will remain. Having said that one of our staff members runs a similar machine and it has been reliable since ~2019. Epic updates at times do cause FPS issues but this is a wider problem than systems generally.
