Included with the Samsung DBD, DMD, DHD and UED commercial displays, the 2nd generation Samsung Smart Signage Platform (SSSP) helps make digital signage simple for users who want to test the water without investing in complex signage systems. This stand-alone system includes content design templates, easy setup and scheduling of content using the displays remote control or with your compatible USB keyboard and mouse (not included), and a multi-channel function, allowing multiple compatible content sources to run concurrently, which can be changed by changing the channel on the remote. The new displays include on-board memory, but also include a USB port and an SD card slot to enable access to larger files stored on your compatible external memory devices (not included). Simply set the unit to plug and play to play content files directly from your compatible USB storage device or your SD card (not included).

The 2nd generation Samsung Smart Signage Platform (SSSP) takes Samsung dynamic signage to another level. Included in the new Samsung DBD, DMD, DHD, and UED series, the 2nd generation SSSP offers quad core System on Chip (SoC) technology helping to boost both power and functionality for signage applications.

This web-based solution also enables display control from the MagicInfo Server1. UED Series 2nd generation SSSP comes with embedded Wi-Fi.

The intuitive Home UI can be easily controlled by the display remote (included), or by using your compatible USB keyboard or mouse (not included).

When the optional Touch Overlay (sold separately) is added, the home screen UI supports
touch interaction for easy use. The main display functions are conveniently available on the
home screen UI in a new matrix design with large menu buttons for ease of use. Selected
configuration menus are also displayed on the main home screen UI for easy access.
The Samsung UED Series digital signage also provides powerful content management tools.

Multi-channel scheduling: Deliver scheduled content on multiple channels simultaneously and access with channel up/ down on display remote. 
E-brochure: Load product or service information on the display in the e-brochure function and you can interrupt scheduled content to share this information with clients.

Maintaining consistent colour across multiple displays can be easy with Samsung UED Series displays. The displays undergo a meticulous factory colour calibration process, helping to ensure consistent colour, lessening the need for manual calibration. The factory colour tuning for white balancing and colour difference compensation helps UDD series display images with uniform colour and colour temperature matching. Users can fine-tune the colour with Samsung Colour Expert, which offers more detailed management for custom needs. Colour vibrancy can be calibrated automatically or manually. Plus, colour values can be shared between multiple displays, helping to provide colour uniformity across video wall screens, dazzling the audience. Colour Expert Software is available from Samsung at no charge. Calibration tool not supplied. Samsung recommends the X-Rite i1 Display Pro calibration tool only. Sold separately through X-Rite.

Easy Image Rotation use the display settings to rotate your content The Samsung UED Series comes with an image rotation feature which enables simple rotation of screen content using display menu functions. The feature is designed to allow content to be reoriented with low impact on its aspect ratio. It can also be delivered to multiple compatible screens via DP1.2 loop out (daisy chain), e.g. to expand landscape content across 3 UDD series displays (of same size) in portrait orientation side by side.

The new UED Series offers DP1.2 loop out to daisy chain multiple displays for video wall applications. The UED series also offers HDCP support through DP1.2 loop out, for up to 7 UED series displays. This helps to overcome HDCP compliance issues for multi screen deployments or video wall applications where you need to deliver protected content from one device to multiple displays.
