The DR-1210C has both a flatbed scanning unit and an ADF unit.
This provides the best of both worlds - scanning of standard documents and the versatility to scan non-standard documents like books. The DR-1210C's ADF is one of the most advanced of its kind. A built in incline plane separation mechanism ensures scanning is smooth. The pad separation mechanism prevents double-sheet feeding.
