Overview
The VE2812AT can transmit HDMI or VGA (combined audio) signals up to 100
meters via a single Cat 5e/6/6a or ATEN 2L-2910 Cat 6 cable. The VE2812AT has
built-in PoH (Power over HDBaseT) function, power can be supplied through the
HDBaseT output port of the connected device, so there is no need to use an
additional power transformer, which can effectively reduce the cost of power
configuration, and save users from having to configure the power supply behind
the wall Trouble with lines. The HDMI specifications supported by the VE2812AT
include 3D, Deep Color and Distortion-Free Audio. In addition, VE2812AT supports
long-distance mode, can extend HDMI signal up to 150 meters, and the resolution
can reach 1080p.
In terms of practicality and convenience, when connecting two sources (HDMI
or VGA), the VE2812AT can be used as a switch, providing users with the
possibility to use more sources. VE2812AT is recommended to be used with VE2812R
. VE2812R supports IR and RS-232 control signal transmission, and VE2812AT can
receive RS-232 commands from VE2812R , allowing users to remotely control
VE2812AT with VE2812R through mode switching. This solution is suitable for
deployment in conference rooms, digital classrooms or any environment that
requires higher video resolution.

to the latest connected source
- The VE2812AT can be used as a switcher or converter:
- Switcher: when connecting two sources (HDMI or VGA)
- Converter: when the receiver and VE2812AT have different interfaces (eg:
DVI, DisplayPort or HDMI)
- Bi-directional RS-232 channel connects to serial terminals or serial
devices such as touchscreens and barcode scanners
