EC412v2 is a PCI Express expansion card designed to add M.2 SSD to an existing PC motherboard. This card provides two M.2 slots, offering flexible support for both NVMe or SATA based M.2 SSDs.
The M Key M.2 slot, is dedicated to PCI-E based NVMe SSD, which utilize the high-speed PCI Express interface. This allows for significantly faster data transfer rates, with speeds reaching up to 64Gbps, making it ideal for demanding applications, large file transfers, and improving system responsiveness.
The B Key M.2 slot, is designed for traditional SATA M.2 SSD. This slot connects to PC via a SATA connector, supporting data transfer rates of up to 6Gbps, which is suitable for more traditional storage needs.
